Carole Lombard (born Jane Alice Peters) was one of the most beautiful actresses of 1930's Hollywood and was known for hew quirky comedy roles in what was sadly a relatively short career. She was married to William Powell and at the time of her death to Clark Gable. She died aged 33 in a plane crash.
